HI, MY NAME IS BRITTANY.

I'm the maker, blogger, and creative mind behind this website: Herban Native.

Just a bit of background: I'm currently a Naturopathic Medical Student who studied Biochemistry and Fine Art in college. Before making my way to the world of Naturopathy (while suffering from a chronic illness, running in and out of the emergency room, seeing multiple specialists, and then ultimately healing myself without knowing that I was actually following Naturopathic principles because I didn't even know what Naturopathy was!), I was an in-house graphic designer and then worked for myself full-time designing, creating, and loving it all.

I am an artist + a scientist, and despite everyone and their mother telling me to choose one (and by "one", they meant science), I have remained consistent in my love and passion for both. And I wholeheartedly believe this is my sweet spot: enabling and inspiring others to live the way THEY want to live through natural health and the gentle practice of making things by hand.

So, given my background and the direction I'd love to take this new dream of mine (celebrating health, home, heart and the art of handmade), what would you like to see from me?

I am body, soul and spirit, and the greatest challenge will be to reconcile them with the calling on my heart.
